Mitre''s Technology Transfer Office signed a cooperative research and development agreement with Veridian for the VRoom technology, one of the first desktop room-based multimodal interface systems utilizing 3-D graphics. Veridian will use VRoom with their air defense simulation product, and will offer support to government agencies that want to use VRoom for their systems. VRoom creates a flexible 3-D virtual room to run multiple applications and interact with them by placing the applications on the walls of the room. |
