Any contractor who works ar gov't facilities may not be able to report at those locations if gov't staff are not around whether they want to or not. This has been the case in snow storms and occassions such as Reagan's death when the Whitehouse declared a day off.If payment requires work from a location, no payment can then be tendered.

Needs to be other options listed in your survey. No one will get laid off, but we will encourage folks to take leave, then we will try to move to other projects, only after that will we put folks on Leave Without Pay. Even senior folks will be encouraged/expected to share the pain. This is not going to be fun and it will impact the bottom line.
Having always relied on our employees for our success, we have no plans to lay anyone off, direct or indirect, in the event od a shutdown. If we let them down, how can we expect them to trust us later.
