The government shutdown claimed another victim today as NASA announced that it will set a new date for its $20 billion SEWP V contract.
The due date was Oct. 14, but because of the shutdown, the agency has nixed that date, and will set a new date after the government reopens.
“Until that time, the due date is TBD,” the agency said on its website.
In the meantime, save your questions because anyone with an answer has been furloughed along with 800,000 other government employees.
NASA will not be able to respond to emails or phone calls, the notice said.
SEWP V contract is the fifth iteration of the very success task order contract that is open to all government agencies looking to buy a variety of IT products and related services.
