Who’s who on DHS Eagle II (so far)?

Awards under the $22 billion Homeland Security Department Eagle II contract have been coming out in bunches. We breakdown the primes and teams that have won to date.

The awards for the Homeland Security Department’s $22 billion Eagle II contract have been coming out in bunches in three different categories.

Most of the awards have been to small businesses, but there has been one group of full-and-open awards in the independent test, validation, verification and evaluation category.

With the spurts of awards, as well as the lag between the announcements by both DHS and the press releases issued by the winners, it can be confusing at times whether it’s a new award or an old award and exactly who’s won.

So, I’ve put together a "cheat sheet" as much for myself as for anyone else.

Some quick background:

DHS Eagle II is for a broad range of IT services, and has three functional categories:

Category 1: Service delivery, which is described as integration, software development and operations and maintenance.

Category 2: IT program support

Category 3: Independent test, validation, verification and evaluation, which I’m going to call IV&V in the chart below.

Another interesting aspect of this contract is that the award announcements include core teammates.

We’ll keep updating this as more awards come out.
