Small business advice

I'm about three days behind in my reading, so it was just this morning that I had a chance to read Shiv Krishan's column in Monday's Washington Post. Krishnan is the founder of Indus Corp.

It's a good column. Insightful.

His attitude is that a small business needs to look for where it can add value and not look for something that is owed to it because it is a small business. Small businesses face a multitude of issues and this attitude is one that can help them weather many storms.

I wish I had time to write more. I'm actually on my way out the door to moderate a panel with Shiv and some other executives about partnering among small and large businesses. It is part of the Small Business Administration's National Small Business Week.

I was afraid that if I didn't something up now I never would. If any of you run across a column or article that you think should be shared, let me know ? nwakeman@1105govinfo.com.

Thanks.
