Committee holds open-mic night at any time of day

The House Small Business Committee has opened an online forum for small-business owners to tell the committee how government is affecting their companies.

The committee often has business owners testify at its hearings, but committee chairman Rep. Sam Graves (R-Mo.) said not everyone can make it to Washington, D.C., to share their concerns. He wants to hear directly from companies on how the government is helping or harming their business.

“With their help, we can make certain that Washington supports policies that allow small businesses to thrive,” Graves said in a statement announcing the open-mic site.

Go to the mic.
