Northrop nets $203.6M option for Global Hawk sustainment

Northrop Grumman has won a $203.6 million option to sustain the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle.

Northrop Grumman has won a $203.6 million option to sustain the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will provide contractor logistics services and sustainment.

Services will include repairs, software, inventory control, sustaining engineering, manufacturing, reliability, maintainability and organizational maintenance, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2016.
