Northrop Grumman gets $3.2B sole source contract for Global Hawk support

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $3.2 billion sole sourced contract to support the Air Force’s Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.

Northrop Grumman has been awarded a $3.2 billion sole sourced contract to support the Air Force’s Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle fleet.

Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will develop, modernize, retrofit and provide sustainment for all Air Force variants of the unmanned aerial vehicle.

This will entail program management, engineering efforts, data management, technical refresh and other services, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in San Diego, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2025.
