Lockheed Martin has won a $120.4 million option to provide engineering services in support of the Navy’s AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging System.
Lockheed Martin has won a $120.4 million option to provide engineering services in support of the Navy’s AN/BVY-1 Integrated Submarine Imaging System.
The system provides mission critical, all-weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning, and platform architecture interface capabilities for attack submarines, the Defense Department said in a release.
Under the contract, Lockheed Martin will provide include design, development, testing, reverse engineering, technology insertion/refreshment, engineering services, field engineering services, and system support.
Work is expected to be completed in September 2016.
