Leidos captures $30.6M contract to support airborne intelligence system

Leidos has won a $30.6 million contract to continue to support the Army’s Night Eagle.

Leidos has won a $30.6 million contract to continue to support the Army’s Night Eagle.

The Night Eagle system is an airborne intelligence system that can collect measurement and signature intelligence and imagery intelligence data during ISR missions.

Under the contract, Leidos will provide operations, support, maintenance, logistic, and engineering services to operate the Night Eagle counter-improvised explosive device airborne detection system in Afghanistan.

Work will be performed in Bridgewater, Va., Afghanistan, Santa Rosa, Calif., Silver Spring, Md., Princeton, N.J., and Poway, Calif., and is expected to be completed in September 2017.
