CAE USA wins $28.8M option to continue training system support

CAE USA Inc. has won a $28.8 million option to provide the Air Force with acquisition and support for all KC-135 training devices.

CAE USA Inc. has won a $28.8 million option to provide the Air Force with acquisition and support for all KC-135 training devices.

The KC-135 ATS program delivers initial qualification, requalification, continuation and upgrade training for KC-135 aircrews, including pilots, navigators and boom operators for the USAF as well as several international militaries, CAE said on its website.

Under the contract, CAE will provide upgrades and configuration management of current training systems hardware/software development, on-site and on-call maintenance for aircrew training devices. 

Work will be performed at a number of Air Force Bases within the United States and is slated to wrap up in September 2016.
