Contract activity picked up in the eighth month of 2015, with August seeing some substantial awards come to market with ceilings in the billions of dollars.
Washington Technology covered 55 awards during August, compared to 52 in July. This August’s 55 contract awards number is greater than August 2014’s 49 awards, continuing a trend that began last month with 2015’s monthly contract number being greater in comparison to the same month’s 2014 number.
Before July 2015, each month of 2015’s number of contract awards paled in comparison to its 2014 counterpart.
