CSC takes on fight against weapons of mass destruction
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $10.3 million contract to help the Defense Threat Reduction Agency counter weapons of mass destruction.
Computer Sciences Corp. has won a $10.3 million contract to help the Defense Threat Reduction Agency counter weapons of mass destruction.
The contract will have CSC providing technical expertise, policy knowledge, operational proficiency, a collective training capability, deployed assistance teams, and advocacy for process creation or improvement in support of counter-WMD measures.
Work under the contract will help address the challenges from threats and enhance national preparedness to manage the consequences of biological, radiological, nuclear and high-yield explosives events, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Virginia and is expected to wrap up in August 2016.
