Raytheon wins $15.5M O&M contract

Raytheon has won a $15.5 million contract to provide operation and maintenance services in support of the Navy Fleet Surveillance Support Center Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar system.

Raytheon has won a $15.5 million contract to provide operation and maintenance services in support of the Navy Fleet Surveillance Support Center Relocatable Over-the-Horizon Radar system.

The system was designed to provide tactical warning to battle group commanders of air and surface threats at an extended range, allowing for responsive engagement.

Work will be performed in Kent, Va., Chesapeake, Va., Freemont, Texas, Freer, Texas, Juana Diaz, Puerto Rico, and Vieques, Puerto Rico, and is expected to be completed in March 2016.
