Four nab places on $900M Special Operations Command contract

Four companies have won spots on a $900 million contract to provide mission support services to the U.S. Special Operations Command.

The winners are:

• Booz Allen Hamilton
• CACI-WGI Inc.
• Raytheon Blackbird Technologies
• MacAulay-Brown

CACI-WGI was formerly The Wexford Group International before being acquired by CACI International in 2007. Raytheon Blackbird Technologies was formed after Raytheon acquired Blackbird Technologies in 2014.

The U.S. Special Operations Command performs direct action, special reconnaissance, counterterrorism, foreign internal defense, unconventional warfare, and other functions as well as oversees other special operations commands belonging to the armed services, according to the USSOCOM website.

Seventeen companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said in a release.
