Army seeking support for video surveillance system

The Army is looking for companies who can provide the engineering and other support needed to collect and analyze video surveillance data it collects. 

The Army Program Executive Office Intelligence, Electronic Warfare & Sensors wants companies who can provide engineering, engineering support, logistics, configuration management and acquisition of spares of the PSDS2 video monitor system.

The PSDS2 system is a full motion video system that ingests video from sensors into a centralized location to support persistent surveillance, video exploitation, dissemination and archiving, according to a new request for information.

The Army is looking for companies who can provide engineering support, logistics and configuration management of the PSDS2 systems as well as provide training to contractor, military and government personnel on sustainment of the system.

This RFI will eventually give way to a planned three-year, cost-plus-fixed-fee, firm-fixed-price IDIQ contract which is expected to be awarded in the second quarter of fiscal 2016.

The Army released the RFI July 20. Responses are due by August 4.
