OBXtek nabs $52.6M communications, IT support services contract

OBXtek Inc. has won a $52.6 million contract to provide communications and information technology support services to the Air Force.

The contract was awarded under the General Services Administration Alliant small business governmentwide acquisition contract.

Under the contract, OBXtek will provide network-centric information technology, networking and security, voice, video and data communications, information and applications management and other requirements, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Arnold Air Force Base, Tenn., Moffett Field, Calif., and White Oak, Md., and is expected to be completed Sept. 30, 2020.

Five companies bid on this contract.

OBXtek has topped off the Washington Technology Fast 50 list of fastest growing small businesses for the last two years.
