Jacobs scores $6.8M engineering, technology acquisition contract

Jacobs Technology has won a $6.8 million option to provide engineering and technology acquisition support services to the Air Force.

Jacobs Technology has won a $6.8 million option to provide engineering and technology acquisition support services to the Air Force.

Under the contract, Jacobs will provide disciplined systems and specialty engineering; technical and information assurance services; support; and products using established government, contractor, and industry processes, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed at Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., and is expected to be completed by Oct. 31, 2015.

 Jacobs is ranked No. 22 on the 2015 Washington Technology Top 100 list of the largest government contractors.
