CenturyLink has named Cynthia Shelton area vice president for special program sales within CenturyLink Government.

CenturyLink has named Cynthia Shelton area vice president for special program sales within CenturyLink Government.

In her new role, Shelton will lead the federal sales team for the company’s intelligence and cybersecurity programs.

She joins CenturyLink from General Dynamics Advanced Information Systems, where she served as vice president of the enterprise mission solutions line of business in the company’s cyber division. She has also held positions at SAIC.

Shelton holds a bachelor’s degree from the U.S. Air Force Academy, and a master’s degree from strategic intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College at Bolling Air Force Base.
