CACI to develop situational awareness software under $86M task order

CACI International has won a $86 million task order to provide engineering and technical support to the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command Software Engineering Center (CECOM SEC).

CACI International has won a $86 million task order to provide engineering and technical support to the U.S. Army’s Communications-Electronics Command Software Engineering Center (CECOM SEC).

The task order was awarded under the CECOM SEC Software and Systems Engineering Services Next Generation program.

CECOM SEC’s mission is to ensure software readiness for Army C4ISR and logistics systems.

Under the order, CACI will help develop and field software that will be used in electronic warfare systems to help ground and airborne soldiers identify threats on the battlefield and support commanders across the full range of military operations, the company said in a release.

This contract continues an over 20-year relationship between CACI and CECOM.
