Raytheon wins $45.7M subcontract to support four Global Hawk UAVs

Raytheon has won a $45.7 million contract from Northrop Grumman to support Northrop’s Global Hawk UAV efforts by providing ground segments.

Raytheon will be supporting four Global Hawk UAVs that were recently purchased by Korea by delivering one building-based and one mobile ground segment, the company said in a release.

The Global Hawk’s primary use is to conduct intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance missions.

Raytheon is the original developer and producer of the Global Hawk ground station, said Todd Probert, vice president of Mission Support and Modernization for Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services.
