Small biz wins $29M Navy contract to support private-public partnerships

The Concourse Group has won a $29 million contract to provide the Navy with professional services in support of its public-private venture program.

The Concourse Group has won a $29 million contract to provide the Navy with professional services in support of its public-private venture program.

Through the program, the Navy establishes long-term business partnerships with outside business entities, the Navy said on its website.

The Concourse Group’s professional services will support all aspects of special venture acquisitions, including family and unaccompanied housing public-private ventures, enhanced use leasing and other public-private venture opportunities like energy and utilities, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Annapolis, Md., and is expected to wrap up in March 2018.

Three companies bid on this contract, the Defense Department said.
