Raytheon has won a $35 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with aircraft integration and lifecycle technical support for the advanced bomb carriage and release system.
Raytheon has won a $35 million sole source contract to provide the Air Force with aircraft integration and lifecycle technical support for the advanced bomb carriage and release system.
The bomb carriage and release system is able to be integrated with more than 11 different platforms, said Todd Probert, vice president for the Mission Support and Modernization unit at Raytheon Intelligence, Information and Services.
Under the contract, Raytheon will provide engineering, investigation and analysis, aircraft integration, testing, training, material and software updates, simulations, modeling, test hardware, initial spares and procurement of all associated hardware to support the activities, the company said in a release.
