Leidos has won a $33.9 million option to provide the Navy with anti-terrorism and force protection global sustainment at Navy regions worldwide.

The original, $74.4 million contract was awarded in March 2013 to SAIC before the company split later that year. This is the second option awarded under that contract.

Under the contract, the company will perform preventative and corrective maintenance, repair and replacement, service calls, and systems/software upgrades for anti-terrorism/force protection ashore equipment, the Defense Department said.

Work is expected to be completed by March 2016.
