Cubic wins $65M contract to support combat training centers

Cubic Corp. has won a $65 million contract to provide support at two combat training centers for an undisclosed Middle East Army customer.

Cubic Corp. has won a $65 million contract to provide support at two combat training centers for an undisclosed Middle East Army customer.

Under the contract, Cubic will provide versions of the Instrumented-Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (I-MILES) Tactical Vehicle System, the I-MILES Individual Weapons Systems and the Tactical Vehicle System adapter kit to enable simulation of combat vehicles, Cubic said in a release.

Cubic’s solutions will allow its customer to have better simulation systems including advanced data collection system for video, voice and other training data that is not currently available in the region, the company said.

Cubic will also manage and support the logistics of the centers for three years following installation.
