GD keeps incumbency on $415M Army training contract

General Dynamics has won a $415 million contract to continue to manage the Army’s LT2 live training systems.

The Army’s LT2 live training systems are included at almost 300 training ranges worldwide and help provide training that scales from individual soldiers to brigades participating in live force-on-force and force-on-target training, General Dynamics said in a release.

The contract is called the Live Training Transformation Consolidated Product-line Management Next contract. General Dynamics won the original contract in 2009.

The new contract will allow the Army to continue to reduce the costs and complexity associated with maintaining its diverse portfolio of training systems. 

General Dynamics will lead a team consisting of:

• Big Lever Software Inc. (Austin, Tex.)
• Carley Corp. (Orlando, Fla.)
