SRA International has won a $32.8 million contract to upgrade the Defense Logistics Agency’s Defense Retiree and Annuitant Pay System.

To complete the work under the contract, SRA said that it will be partnering with the Defense Finance and Accounting Service, which oversees payments to Defense Department service members, employees, vendors and contractors.

Under the contract, SRA will develop and implement the Defense Retiree and Annuitant Pay System 2 with enhanced capabilities meant to streamline processes and better meet user needs, the company said.

SRA bested a team led by IBM Corp. and survived a round of bid protests to hang onto the contract. The bid protest was resolved last month.
