FBI picks winners for IT hardware replacement contract

Seven companies have won contracts with the FBI to purchase and replace IT equipment for the bureau’s headquarters and field offices.

Seven companies have won contracts with the FBI to purchase and replace information technology equipment for deployment in the bureau’s headquarters and field offices.

The winners and contract value ceilings are:

  • AOC Connect -- $10 million
  • Intelligent Decisions Inc. -- $15 million

  • Iron Bow -- $195 million

  • MicroTech -- $15 million

  • Red River Computer Co -- $40 million

  • Sterling Computers -- $10 million

  • Spectrum Systems LLC -- $130 million

The goal of this program is to allow the FBI to obtain standard, non-mainframe IT hardware and enable the bureau’s Information Technology Services Division to identify, schedule and refresh operational IT hardware to avoid obsolescence, according to FedBizOpps.

The contract will replace IT hardware such as desktops, laptops, print media, servers, storage area networks.

Work under these contracts will take place at the FBI headquarters and at 56 of its field offices and is expected to wrap up in January 2019, with options.
