Northrop Grumman wins $7.1M contract to support USMC enterprise network
Northrop Grumman has won a $7.1 million contract to support the Marine Corps’ Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN).
Northrop Grumman has won a $7.1 million contract to support the Marine Corps’ Marine Corps Enterprise Network (MCEN).
The MCEN is the MCEN is the Marine Corps’ network‐of‐networks and approved interconnected network segments. It comprises people, processes, logical and physical infrastructure, architecture, topology and Cyberspace Operations, according to the Marine Corps website.
The network provides robust, seamless and secure end-to-end communications, delivering enterprise services across the institution, the Marine Corps said.
Under the contract, Northrop Grumman will perform cyber network and defense services.
Work will be performed in Quantico, Va., Camp Pendleton, Calif., and Okinawa, Japan, and is expected to wrap up in July 2015.
