The nomination period is now open for the 2015 Federal 100 awards, which honor individuals who have gone above and beyond their job descriptions to make a broader impact on the federal IT community.

Anyone involved in the federal IT community is eligible for a Fed 100 award, regardless of whether that individual has won a Fed 100 award in the past. This includes government employees, contractors, academics, members of Congress and others.

As for nominations, anyone can submit one so long as the nomination is submitted by the deadline on Dec. 23. In January 2015, judges will select 100 winners, who will be announced on Jan. 31. In mid-March, the annual Fed 100 awards gala will be held.

More information on the judging process and on what makes a “good nomination” can be found on FCW.com. To submit a nomination, click here.
