PSC appoints NAVSEA director as head of defense, intell council

The Professional Services Council has appointed senior NAVSEA procurement executive Jerry Punderson to lead the organization’s Defense and Intelligence Council.

The Professional Services Council has appointed Jerry Punderson to lead the organization’s Defense and Intelligence Council.

Punderson is currently director of contracts for the Naval Sea Systems Command. His role with PSC is a newly created one, the organization said in a release.

PSC’s Defense and Intelligence Council is focused on defense and intelligence community-related policy and market issues.

Punderson held positions at the Naval Electronic Systems Command and the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office before joining NAVSEA in 1985. At NAVSEA, Punderson oversaw such large IT contracts as SeaPort-e as well as shipbuilding and weapon plaform procurements.
