Thunder Cat Technology wins $16.2M contract for servers, storage

Thunder Cat Technology has won a $16.2 million contract to provide servers and storage to the Defense Logistics Agency.

Thunder Cat Technology has won a $16.2 million contract to provide servers and storage to the Defense Logistics Agency.

Under the contract, the company will provide the DLA with virtual desktop infrastructure servers and storage.

Work will take place in Virginia and in Pennsylvania and is expected to be completed Sept. 29, 2015.

Though this was a competitive acquisition, Thunder Cat Technology was the only bidder, the Defense Department said.
