Leidos has won a $19 million contract to help the Air Force determine which sensor technology concepts offer the best performance in realistic missions.
The contract is part of the sensor analysis, integration and test (SAIT) program, which assesses requirements and advanced technologies, performs operational and technical analysis, collaborates on ground and flight demonstrations and explores sensor system integration, the Defense Department said.
The results of this contract may also be applied to other Air Force programs as well as programs related to homeland security and ISR, the Defense Department said.
Work will be performed in Beavercreek, Ohio, and is expected to be completed by Sept. 30, 2020.
