Alion to support Naval Surface Warfare Center branches under $34M contract

Alion Science and Technology has won a five-year $34 million contract to help the Naval Surface Warfare Center equip warfighters with updated weapon systems and sensors.

Alion Science and Technology has won a five-year $34 million contract to help the Naval Surface Warfare Center equip warfighters with updated weapon systems and sensors.

Under the contract, Alion will support two branches within the center’s Platform and Launch Systems Division: Polymer Engineering and Underwater Sensor Branch and Logistics Branch.

Services are to include professional engineering, configuration management, data management, project management and quality assurance services.

The company is teaming with Advanced Automated Corp., Claxton Logistics Services, Logis-Tech, McKean Defense Group and Rite Solutions Corp. to complete the work on this contract.
