21 win $7.2B Army intell contract

Eleven large and 10 small businesses have won spots on a five-year, $7.2 billion Army contract for global intelligence support.

In an effort to acquire the best global intelligence support it can, the Army has awarded eleven large and ten small businesses spots on a five-year, $7.2 billion contract for global intelligence support services acquisition.

The large business portion of the contract is worth $5 billion. The winners are:

The small business portion of the contract is worth $2.2 billion. The winners are:

  • Absolute Business Corp.
  • Archimedes Global
  • Calhoun International
  • Circinus LLC
  • Charles F. Day & Associates
  • E&M Technologies
  • Integral Consulting Services
  • K-3 Enterprises
  • Pluribus International Corp.
  • The Buffalo Group

The Army’s objective is to acquire flexible, comprehensive and cost-effective services to support its need for fully integrated intelligence, security, information operations and related support, the Defense Department said in a release.

These services will cover four functional areas: intelligence and security through collection, analysis and production of intelligence information; information operations; mission support services for management of operations, facilities and logistics, training and intelligence systems; and sustainment services such as business functions for program administration, resource management, requirements analysis and force planning, according to FedBizOpps.

According to the Defense Department, 17 companies bid on the large portion of the contract, with 20 small businesses bidding on the smaller portion.
