CSC tapped for littoral combat ship support under $33.3M contract

NAVSEA continues to find support for its Littoral Combat Ship Program Office through a potentially $33.3 million professional services contract awarded to Computer Sciences Corp.

Computer Sciences Corp. has won a potentially $33.3 million contract to provide the Navy with professional services in support of the Littoral Combat Ship Program Office.

The base value of this contract is $16.6 million.

Under the contract, CSC will provide test and evaluation, lifecycle engineering and support, logistics and operational readiness, program management, business and financial management, systems engineering, production planning and production engineering, manning, personnel and training, human systems integration analysis and engineering, data management engineering, and combat systems development.

Work will be performed in Washington, D.C., and is expected to wrap up in March 2015.

CACI International recently won a similar contract to support NAVSEA’s LCS office by providing logistics and acquisition management support.
