August picked up the contract award pace with 46 awards being reported. Who made the list of the top 10 biggest contracts of August 2014?

Contract award momentum picked up in August as fourth quarter of fiscal 2014 enters its most hectic period.

August saw 46 contracts being reported, a modest increase over July’s 44.

To make the list this time around, you had to have won a contract more than $120 million.

While most of the awards were from federal agencies, there was one big contract awarded by a state government.

10. Dell Federal wins $120M contract to provide CDC with IT infrastructure

Dell has won a $120 million contract with the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to provide the agency with IT infrastructure, application and user support services.

9. Raytheon wins $130M to build new toll system in Massachusetts

Raytheon has won a $130 million contract to provide Massachusetts with an all electronic tolling system.

8. State taps DynCorp for global IT services under $165M task order

DynCorp International has won a $165 million task order to provide global IT services to the State Department’s Bureau of Information Resource Management.

7. Cubic Corp. wins $200M IDIQ to provide Army with training system

Cubic Corp. has won a potentially $200 million contract to supply the Army with the Army Mobile Instrumented Training System.

6. Aerospace Testing Alliance wins $224M option to support Air Force complex

Aerospace Testing Alliance has won a $224 million option to support the Air Force’s Arnold Engineering Development Complex in Manchester, Tenn.

5. Eight win $250M NOAA contract for hydrographic surveying services
