Alion to support Marine Corps HQ under $25.2M Air Force contract

Alion Science and Technology has won a $25.2 million contract with the Air Force to provide technical analysis, logistics and sustainment for Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps.

Alion Science and Technology has won a $25.2 million contract with the Air Force to provide technical analysis, logistics and sustainment for Headquarters U.S. Marine Corps.

This contract was awarded under the Advanced Materials, Manufacturing and Testing Information Analysis Center (AMMITAC) IDIQ contract, which provides research and development, engineering analysis, technical and operational evaluations, and systems engineering for programs designated by the U.S. Marine Corps, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Mount Arlington, N.J., and is expected to be completed by Dec. 29, 2016.
