BAE Systems wins $44.3M contract to support radar, comms systems

BAE Systems has won a $44.3 million contract to support the Air Force’s Solid State Phased Array Radar Systems.

BAE Systems has won a $44.3 million contract to support the Air Force’s Solid State Phased Array Radar Systems.

The Solid State Phased Array Radar System is a radar, computer and communications system for missile warning and space surveillance.

Work will be performed at the five locations where it is installed: Beale Air Force Base, Calif., Cape Cod Air Force Station, Mass., Clear Air Force Station, Alaska, Thule Air Force Base, Greenland, and Royal Air Force Fylingdales, U.K., and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2015.
