State taps DynCorp for global IT services under $165M task order

DynCorp International has won a $165 million task order to provide global IT services to the State Department’s Bureau of Information Resource Management.

DynCorp International has won a $165 million task order to provide global IT services to the State Department’s Bureau of Information Resource Management.

The five-year task order was awarded under GSA’s LOGWORLD contract.

LOGWORLD assists federal agencies in logistics solutions. Services include planning acquisition and management of logistics systems; providing expert advice, assistance, guidance, management; and providing operational support services, according to GSA’s website.

Under the contract, DynCorp will modernize the IT equipment that is deployed at posts and bureaus, the company said in a release.
