The Air Force is kicking off a recompete of a financial system support contract for Scotts Air Force Base and is weighing whether to make it a fixed-price contract.
The incumbent contractor is Harris IT Services.
The Air Force is still developing its acquisition strategy, and hasn’t finalized a decision on whether the contract will be fixed price, according to the sources sought notice.
The new contract will have a six-month base and four one-year options. The Air Force wants the new contract to begin April 1, 2015.
The notice is seeking market information on services for comptroller IT systems including professional services supporting financial management and transportation systems.
Requirements include experience with the following systems and software:
- Air Force Standard Desktop Computed Configuration,
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Publishing Suite
- LeaveWeb
- Defense Enterprise Accounting Management System
- Defense Joint MilPay System
- DEAMS Component Billing System
- Global Air Transportation Execution System
- Global Decision Support System
- Defense Travel System
- Cold Fusion
- Structured Query Language
- Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications
Support services will include technology fusion, financial analysis, professional financial systems analysis services, professional decision support and systems administration.
