The contract calls for software coding and security on military GPS system user equipment.
Rockwell Collins will work to mature the software coding of GPS receiver cards and perform security certification to enable faster fielding of military code capable GPS receivers to the warfighter, the Defense Department said in a release.
Work will be performed in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and is expected to be completed by Aug. 31, 2015.
