Dovel Technologies acquires health IT firm

Dovel Technologies has acquired RNSolutions in a move that expands Dovel’s presence in the federal health information technology market.

Dovel Technologies has acquired RNSolutions in a move that expands Dovel’s presence in the federal health information technology market.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Based in Rockville, Md., RNSolutions provides best practices and practical technology solutions to a number of customers including divisions of the Health and Human Services Department.

“The complementary skills and increased technical competencies of the combined organization will allow for significant growth potential, the opportunity to expand our technology thought leadership to our customers and most importantly to provide enhanced career opportunities to all our employees,” said Dovel CEO Paul Leslie.

“Acquisitions are part of Dovel’s growth strategy and we feel that this transaction is a great fit for both companies,” said Dovel founders Dov and Elma Levy.

RNSolutions’ CEO and entire team will stay on with Dovel after the transaction closes. The acquisition gives RNSolutions a route to mature and grow to the next level, said RNSolutions CEO Richard Somwaru.

Investment banking firm KippsDeSanto advised RNSolutions on this deal.
