ManTech International Corp. has acquired 7Delta in a move that boosts ManTech’s technology management solutions in civilian and defense markets. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Columbia, Md.-based 7Delta specializes in applications and software development, program management, systems integration, information assurance, and security architecture primarily within the healthcare community at the Veterans Affairs Department, ManTech said in a release.

The company holds a prime position on the VA’s Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology, or T4 program, which is a five-year IDIQ meant to help the department transform its IT programs. According to ManTech, 7Delta has won more task orders under that contract than any of the other primes.

"As one of the largest healthcare IT contractors for the VA, 7Delta is a perfect fit for ManTech. Integrating the strengths of 7Delta and ManTech will create an innovative leader in federal healthcare IT that is best able to modernize and integrate the electronic health record systems of the VA and DoD,” said George Pederson, ManTech chairman and CEO.

The deal is expected to close in May.
