Progeny Systems Corp. has won a $55.6 million contract to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Navy’s AN/UYQ-100 Undersea Warfare Decision Support System.
Progeny Systems Corp. has won a $55.6 million contract to provide engineering and technical services in support of the Navy’s AN/UYQ-100 Undersea Warfare Decision Support System.
The base value of this contract is $9.6 million.
The Undersea Warfare Decision Support System provides a net-centric capability for the Anti-Submarine Warfare commander to maintain a common tactical picture and execute tactical control by implementing net-centric decision making tools in an open architecture environment enabling sharing of key tactical data between ASW platforms and support nodes within the battlespace in near real-time, according to the Navy’s website.
Work will be performed in Manassas, Va., Patuxent River, Md., Gig Harbor, Wash., Middletown, R.I., Norfolk, Va., and Pearl Harbor, Hawaii and is expected to be completed by March 2015.
