Raytheon wins $9.8M contract to support DARPA’s Plan X program

Raytheon has won a $9.8 million contract with DARPA to play a part in the agency’s Plan X program, which seeks to help U.S. government agencies plan, execute and assess cyber network operations.

Plan X was first announced in 2011, and is DARPA’s foundational cyberwarfare program to develop platforms for the Defense Department to plan for, conduct and assess cyberwarfare in a manner similar to kinetic warfare, Raytheon said in a release.

Under the contract, Raytheon will help the Defense Department scale and execute cyber operations with accurate, assessable results.
