Exelis wins $32M Coast Guard radar contract
Exelis has won a $32 million contract to supply the Coast Guard with airborne surveillance radars, spares, support equipment and technical services.
Exelis has won a $32 million contract to supply the Coast Guard with airborne surveillance radars, spares, support equipment and technical services.
Exelis will provide the AN/APY-11 multimode radar, which is designed to support the Coast Guard’s maritime reconnaissance mission, which includes long-range surveillance, search and rescue, drug interdiction, counterterrorism and maritime environmental support, Exelis said in a release.
This award strengthens the company’s presence in the ISR and analytics markets.
