Lockheed wins $8.9M contract to produce ISIS systems

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training has won an $8.9 million contract with the Navy to produce Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems and spares.

Lockheed Martin Mission Systems and Training has won an $8.9 million contract with the Navy to produce Integrated Submarine Imaging Systems and spares.

The ISIS provides mission critical, all weather, visual, and electronic search, digital image management, indication, warning, and platform architecture interface capabilities, the Defense Department said in a release.

Work will be performed in Johnstown, Pa., Manassas, Va., Northampton, Mass., and Chantilly, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 2017.

Funding in the full amount of the contract is obligated at the time of the award, and will not expire at the end of fiscal 2014.
