Carestream Health wins $70.2M radiology contract with Defense Department

Carestream Health has won a $70.2 million option to provide the Defense Logistics Agency with radiology systems, subsystems and components.

Carestream Health has won a $70.2 million option to provide the Defense Logistics Agency with radiology systems, subsystems and components.

Carestram Health is a provider of medical and dental imaging systems and IT solutions; x-ray imaging systems for non-destructive testing; and advanced materials for the precision films and electronics markets.

Work will be performed in New York, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 15, 2014.

The Defense Logistics Agency awarded two similar contracts to MinXray Inc. and Virtual Imaging Inc. in June.
