QinetiQ North America wins $7.8M order for TALON robots

Robots will assist explosive ordnance disposal

QinetiQ North America has won a $7.8 million order to provide Pakistan with TALON robots.

TALON robots are used for counter-improvised explosive device missions, and are among the most widely deployed military robots in the world, QinetiQ said in a release.

This contract was awarded as part of the Foreign Military Sales program.

“TALON robots are world class lifesavers that keep personnel, assets and civilians out of harm’s way,” said Andy Rogers, Executive Vice President and General Manager of QNA’s Technology Solutions business.
